April 17. 2023 Undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Economics in the Netherlands Every year the field of finance is one of the most popular choices for candidates to start their studies at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in the Netherlands. After all, having such a degree offers many career opportunities in many sectors of the economy. The Netherlands has rightly taken the lead in economics studies, since it has many recognized Universities, which offer high-level studies and even in the English Language. For example, the University of Amsterdam has an Economics department, the University of Groningen and Radboud an Economics and Business Economics department and the Maastricht University a Financial Economics department. All these programs are offered in English. Studies at undergraduate level last 36 months and postgraduate programs last 12 months. Tuition fees range from approximately €2,000 per year and in order to be able to apply to the University, the candidate must have a high school diploma and a sufficient level of knowledge in Mathematics for the undergraduate programs and a degree in a related subject for the graduate programs.
