French is the third of the Romance languages ​​in terms of the number of people who speak French as their native language, after Spanish and Portuguese, but the only one with a strong presence in all the five continents and the only one with approximately 600 million people who speak it as native speakers or as a second language.

In EMFASIS, we offer methodical and effective preparation, aiming to the acquisition of certificates at all the levels stated below, which are recognized by the Supreme Council of Staff Selection (ASEP):

  • DELF and DALF issued by the French Institute.
  • TFLF (Test Francophone Langue Francaise) issued by the University of Liege.
  • State Certificate of Language issued by the Greek Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs.
  • Sorbonne certificate issued by the University of Sorbonne (Paris IV) for levels B1, B2, C1, C2
  • The French Institute conducts examinations for diplomas DELF / DALF, as well as diplomas SORBONNE of the University of Sorbonne.

The program consists of six levels according to the levels set by the Common European Reference Framework for Languages ​​(CEFR). (link to the table below).

Read More The DELF certificates (Diplome d’ Etudes en langue francaise) are language certificates issued by the French Ministry of Education. There are 4 certificates of the DELF class (DELF A1, DELF A2, DELF B1, DELF B2). A candidate is allowed to give examinations directly for DELF B2, without previously having obtained the DELF A1 or DELF A2 certificate, on the condition that he/she has already attended the required courses to get to the corresponding level of knowledge. However, the step by step acquisition of each certificate is recommended, depending on the age of each particular candidate.

Read More The DALF certificates (Dimplome approfonti de langue francaise) are language certificates issued by the French Ministry of Education. There 2 certificates of the DALF class (DALF C1 and DALF C2), both independent on each other. Acquisition of DALF C2 is accompanied with Sufficiency of Teaching (teaching license) by the Greek Ministry of Education.
TFLF (Test Francophone Langue Francaise)

The examinations are performed according to the Common European Framework of Languages. The examination themes are candidate-friendly. State Certificate of Language Knowledge (KPG)
Read More This is an examination system certified by the Greek Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs. It is recognized by all state authorities and institutions. The examinations for A1-A2 level are performed with graded tests in the same way as those for levels B1 – B2.

The fees are determined according to the type of the course and the number of teaching hours, as well as the number of the students in a particular class. Payments are made per month, followed by a corresponding voucher issued by EMFASIS.
