Oath of graduates of the Medical Faculty of Comenius University in Bratislava
With great solemnity, and as appropriate to the circumstances, took place in July 13, the oath ceremony of the graduated students of MEDICINE in the presence of their parents and relatives, the Dean Prof. Peter Labas the Rector and Rector Prof. Karol Mičieta. It was a spectacular event with many tears of joy, emotion, and satisfaction for the important fact of obtaining the medical degree.
The General Manager of EMFASIS Mr. Menandros Emfietzoglou visited BRATISLAVA to attend this event, as most of the graduated students were represented by EMFASIS. With great warmth, he congratulated the students and their parents for the acquisition of the title of Doctor and then, he greeted the Rector Mr. Micieta, the Dean Mr. Labas and Vice Mr. Brucknerova.
Dean Mr. LABAS, during his formal speech, congratulated the graduated students and their parents, stressing among other things, that day was the most important in their life after the day of their birth, and wished them a successful career. We, said Mr. LABAS, as a University we gave you the knowledge, and you must use it consistently for the benefit of humans, following the instructions of your ancestor Hippocrates, the man who was a bright symbol for all the humanity.
Vice-dean Mrs. BRUCKNEROVA presented the protocol of the day in perfect Latin, and also wished a successful career to the new doctors.
The ceremony was completed with the delivery of diplomas to graduates.
